Yesterday, I threw it out on Twitter – whoever DM’s me first gets drawn. Tune into last nights post, Loz won and I drew her and it was super fun. Jeremy got to me just seconds after she did so I considered him as runner up. As it turns out today is his birthday and I did not have any better ideas (well a few) so I ended up drawing him. Well, I went a little nuts and went for it more like a full painting instead of sketch/study.

Scott H. Biram’s new record is coming out next week, February 4. So, I thought I would do a little homage to the dirty old one man band from Austin tonight. His records are good – but man if you get a chance to see him live go do it. Its powerful. I got to see him while vacationing in Memphis back in November – good stuff. So here you go.

Today is day 28, of the create every day (CED) challenge 2014 – where I draw or paint or create something and post it every day of the year.
Tonight the president, in tradition gives the state of the Union address to Congress, and the world. I tuned out. My Anarcho-Libertarian tendencies have kicked into full force this year and Ive lost any interest that a centralized government is the answer to saving the republic. Voting for the lesser of two evils, is still pretty evil.
So tonight, in honor of our “anti war – all transparent” president, a scene from the other side of the world. –and I went back to painting roots and did something real painterly for this one. I could spell out the “meaning” for you – but I think you the viewer, are smart enough to get it.
